i just bought a phasor 45/3 with a 6-12 cell speed controller. im going to put it in a plane but do you think it will fly a 30 size heli? im thinking of converting an old shuttle. let me know thanks Ron

Hello Ron,
Well there are some Raptors 30V2 converted but with different electric engines. I think 45/3 could be in worst case an option but probably not with 12cells but 16-20 because of 30's weight and low engine KV. You should also pick up proper pinion and make very good cooling sollution as the engine will get extremly hot. Second problem is that your ESC for 12 cells is not sufficient while BEC for 4 std. or digital servos+gyro+RX could be a problem even with 12 cells and definitelly for 16. Therefore maybe you will need an OPTO version with separate battery pack for RX and servos.
