Anyone got a ballpark figure for the clearance betwween the clutch shoes and liner, mine have about a 2mm gap all round and the rotor wont get up to speed it sruggles to lift of and then wobbles around like a drunk sailor (no offence to sailors or drinkers intended)
I have had an experienced flyer try and tweak the pitch and throttle curves to no avail - It really seems to be clutch slippage
Thanx - Russell

The clutch clearence should be about .5mm between the shoes and lining or about that.Sounds like you need to replace the lining, do this and then try it again.

CK engine mixtures if to rich the engine will strugle with proper preformance and clutch may not be gripping tight enough to hold solid? Just thinking Mechanic mike
