Jeff,
I would take any help I can get. I originally started this post because I was done with my R60. With the amount of problems I have had, I was tired and just thankful that nothing happened to my radio gear.
On the other hand, If you are willing to help get this thing back int the air... I will try once more.
I know that is possible for this thing to fly great. The reason why I bought this thing anyways was because I saw Dob fly the piss out of this thing. He even had a TT70 in it.
Mine was not this case. It Just wouldnt ever fly right. The only reason I was (bashing) as you call was because Ace and their move has been a bad one.
I am in the Telecommunications business and hear all the problems with their phone system over there. I wrote doug an e-mail that I would love to help them out and (Fix) the problem that they are having. Anyways he never took me up on that offer. Im sure they have some sort of long term plan.
Untill then, I do appoligise for accusing you. I do however recommend that Ace in calli needs to get their act together. Its very frustrating to the retail consumer. I have heard of lots of part outages also.

Chad, I'm glad you're going to give your R60 another chance, they really are a great flying heli. Good luck and enjoy!

From what I've heard they had to use a temporary office and warehouse while they waited for the new building to be finished, I read some where that they are moved into the new facility and things are suppose to get back to normal. They really did drop the ball on this move though it was kind of like every one went on vacation, you would think they would have set up the new office and warehouse before leaving Mo. I'm sure they didn't plan on things going the way they did at least I hope this wasn't what they had in mind when they moved.

try living in HAWAII, you get
help from nobody. unless you know
someone at the hobby shop. the junk
thing about is that there is only
one hobby shop in HI that sells
heli's and airplanes. SO when you
CRY like that, it don't mean a thing
to ME. I was almost self tought.
If you didn't know a heli pilot
at the air field. your sh-t out luck
cause the old timers ain't going
help the new kid's on the block!!!!!
I'm just amazed that you have so much anger. but my R60 run like
a champ. never had a problem. I been
doing this gigg, since 1990.. I made
sure that I would learn
something new everyday. just live
life to the fulless, because the man who dies with the toys wins...

Hmmm... I wasn't sure I would post anything after reading all
the "junk" that has been said but....

I've been a hard-core X-Cell Custom Graphite flyer for over
7 years now. I have put the thing through about everything
you can think of and it flys great.

About a year+ ago I purchased an ARF Raptor 30 for my son.
After installing the radio and doing a thorough setup I took it out
to fly and I have got to say that the little Rappy is one of the best
buys anywhere!

I have done every possible maneuver with the R30 as I have/do
with my X-Cell 60 and the R30 just keeps on ticking! The key
is to set it up "right" the first time and do preventive maintenance
on it - just like any other heli.

Now I have not had to contact ACE for anything concerning
the R30 - lucky? maybe.... But I'm sure if people would just
sit back and relax and treat the heli for what it is - they will
get along with it just fine.

I've only had the chance to fly one R60 and from what I could
tell, it's a good machine for what is is too - an affordable plastic
helicopter.

I for one will continue to fly X-Cell along with R30 (maybe an R60
who knows).
