Hey everybody,

I want to start next year with heli flying, and I was wondering which engines are used in a logo 10. Because I fly rc planes, I build the projects I still have to do, and that is a chipmunk now.

Because I don't get a lot of money where I work. (I'm only 16 , and that since today) I will first build the chip, but I thought I could use a motor that I could use for the logo too. Now IO want to know which ones are used, and then look if I can use one for the chip. When the chip is ready, I start building the heli, and buy the parts I still have too buy,

I've seen this, but I have seen that there are more than just these that are used. Now I want to know which is used by users of this forum, and then search for one that I can use on the chipmunk too. I think a gearbox for in the chip won't be a problem.

Go to http://www.logoheli.com/hotsetups.htm to see what people are using.. Generally speaking, the Mikado motor recommendations are supposedly pretty mild as compared to what most people are using. e.g. Mikado recommends a Hacker B50-14L or B50-15L for 3D use, but most Logo 10 users are using the B50-13L and I've even heard of people using B50-11L on the Logo 10 for hard 3D.. For the Kontronik, I think the "wisdom" is to use the Kontronik FUN 600-18 instead of the Mikado recommended FUN 600-17.. I also think it is generally accepted that most people run head speeds above 1700 instead of the Mikado recommended 1600 for 3D..
