Why are they called expired?

As in expired subscription. The Club20 member galleries are members that have donated at least $20 a year (6 cents a day).

Last night I finally finished with last Tuesdays unregulated flood of 41 different member gallery uploads. Uploads are now available 24/7 for Club20. The balance of my time against Club20 uploads is much better. Remember that I hand process every photo uploaded. This includes cropping and then adjusting white-balance, contrast and sharpness.

Personeally you can delete my gallery. I have my own web site and it gets all the uploaded photos I want. Also I prefer my photo processing over yours.

No offence but I already pay one place for web hosting and photo hosting. I'm not going to pay here too.

Now if I feel like donating money to support the site I expect that money to go into Marks pocket. Not into photo processing or gallery hosting.

Not trying to offend... Just stating the way I feel. Since I found pictures of Marks Vigor back before this site was anything I have been coming here. I came here because of the fine quality pictures and large size of them. Now those are gone. I don't like this new rule.

Flame me all you want, this is just how I feel.

Agreed totally Vokul....... I offered to take some of the load off of Marks shoulders when he offered the photo processing to someone else to do it. I have the conection speed and all the programs to edit photo's (and would have went out and bought the one Mark wanted me to use if i didnt already have it) and non the less i have the time to do it. I am self employed and sit here all day (and am a computer junkie) doing nothing basically. After I offered to do it nothing more was said. Dont get me wrong i love this site, there is no others that compare. I agree that donated money should go in Mark's pocket if anything!! Wes

Galleries?

Some interesting points have been expressed, but, since Mark IS the HOST, and since Mark DOES the photo processing.......don't donations/photo finishing funds go to him anyway????
It is my understanding that it does......maybe I'm missing something?

Many people have donated more than $20 anyway. This cannot be an issue of afforability? I mean $.06 a day???
I believe that $20 is an incredibly small amount for the value of what a person may gain from this site. That's just my opinion.

Of coarse some people would take a free ride at any opportunity...not directed at any one in particular-----that's just human nature.

If you look in the donations page, you may recognize people who have sold a lot of stuff here (judging by posts) and the level of donations are limited.......human nature?

There are others who realize what this site is worth to them and support RR accordingly.
Sounds all the same to me

I appreciate your offer to help, but the logistics and the systems needed to implement your involvement with RunRyder are just not practical at this moment.

I am taking this a day at a time and for now the flood of uploads is more manageable.

Thanks

... and large size of them. Now those are gone.

Ken

I do not understand what is gone. All the photos at RunRyder are presented the same way as my original Vigor gallery. Only now I have more advanced processing tools and more touchup experience.

Overtime I have implemented My Gallery improvements that allow members to share their stuff with everyone here in this community. Members can script out and create a presence (personal heli web site) that otherwise would be impractical.

I am not going to delete your gallery because it adds value to RunRyder. As far as donations go, Club20 members are going to get more for their money in the future. I am going to cover Toledo and present it only to Club20 members.

If donations will justify it I will spend the money and go to 100% dedicated server hosting. As I stated before I have already purchased an extremely powerful web server and it is sitting here collecting dust.

Dedicated 100% server hosting would allow for a chat room and many other feature possibilities.

Hi Mark...
Is the forum software retail warez, or did you write it? Where I work, we used, at one time, a software package for our intranet that looks very similar to the layout here.
