| The 9CHP is plenty for the Joker.
Even the FX-18 with a few optional switches would do (I fly my Joker with both).
The 9Z is more than you need, and it is more difficult to program because it has more features and is quite old.
The tach doesn't need any extras, the sensor is built into the transmitter case. But I find it much safer and more convenient to use one of those tiny hand-held tachs that you can buy for 20 bucks or so.
Just imagine yourself holding your transmitter over the rotor blades of a running helicopter.... |
