e-Electric Batteries & Chargers > New Battery Technology? When might we see them?

Lithium-Sulpher is supposed to be the next leap in battery technology. Factories currently making Li-Poly batteries supposedly need minimum retooling to go Li-S. So does anyone here know when we might see these miracle cells?

If what I've read here is true, then what would the estimated flight time for a Joker be I wonder? If people are getting average flights of 20 minutes with Lipos, are we looking at 40 minutes or longer with equivalent weight of Li-S?

Just adding to the topic. If anybody else finds any interesting battery technologies out there, feel free to keep this list current.

Alcohol fuel cells also may be promising. From what I've read, they could very well pack more punch than traditional metal based batteries. Obviously still very experimental however. Toshiba's prototype is about the size of a brick currently.
