Yesterday Tuesday, the MY_GALLERY to-do processing list ended up having 41 member galleries to process. This has prompted me to initiate the following new MY_GALLERY upload policy.

Uploads privileges will only be available to members that donate at least $20 a year. This site consumes an inordinate amount of my time and so far it is all basically a huge donation to the hobby.

This new policy does not prevent non Club20 members from posting photos at RunRyder. The photos just have to be uploaded on a server other than RunRyder's and then use the [ IMG ] formatting code to post the images in forum messages.

Great idea Mark! I made a second donation so now I am a bit above the Club 20 level. I imagine that no one here realizes the time it takes away from your family and hobbies to make Runryder what it is today. In your own words "You created a monster". I hope my donations will help keep Runryder the leading edge of forums. The information that can be obtained off your site is extremely valuable and easily worth a 20.00 annual donation.
One suggestion I have is to let members if possible and if they want to enhance their own photos with their own software. I myself would prefer to have my photos left as is once I upload them. If there was anyway you can do this to my pics it would be great. I would prefer to be the judge on how they should look. Thanks!

donation clubs

Good idea Mark.. Let me know if you ever need help touching up photo's.. I use Paint Shop Pro & Adobe Photoshop @ home and can help if you need.. and just send the touched up photos back to ya.. just let me know...

I couldn't imagine having all those pics to go through and manually put in!!!

To me.. the site is well worth the $20 or more per year.. I get more out of this than my magazine subscriptions!!

Ya know what, Vo........your right!!!!

I donated a bit this month, and I feel great about it. I am also thankful for the job Mark does......it is alot more work than people sometimes realize.

What caught my eye was what Vo Decker wrote:

The days I visit RunRyder (M,Tue,W,Thu,F..........OK........Saturday and Sunday Too!!), I spend about 1 hour throughout the day reading and replying......give or take on my not so busy days.

RunRyder is THE ONLY web site that I would, without thinking, pay a membership fee to be a part of. Let's support Mark so it doesn't come to that by necessity.

Finally done it

Well I've finally sent my donation in. After procrastinating for a couple of months I took the bull by the horns today.
