I have a set of JR 600 woodies that came with my R-22, the root plastic parts were not glued to the blades. this may be an obvious question, but, the instructions are in Japanese Do they need to be glued like other woodies?? I did epoxy them to be safe--was it necessary?

I assume all plastic roots to be glued onto woodies. The Hirobo manuals say to use Zap CA+ to glue 'em on. Did you cut out the corresponding areas of the shrink wrap? (If they have the wrap.)

Why ask if you've glued them on already?

Gluing?

Yes I cut out the area under the roots, I asked because they came already screwed together and they seemed very tight.

These are my first set of JR blades and I didn't know if there was any different policy regarding attachment. I have had several sets of Koyosho and Helimax blades and they all came with instructions that they should be epoxied on. Just wasn't sure so I did them anyway--I don't read Japanese to well!
Thanks for the reply.
