Ok.. is 3d flying with a heli defined basically the same as with a plank.. maneuvers at close to 0 airspeed?? I feel stupid for asking.. but hey.. need to know!!! Thanks

3D flying is a generic term. I think it really just means handling the machine in every orientation in a controlled manner. It is used to describe just about any 'un-natural' or non-scale trick a heli does. When you see good '3D' flying, you will know it.

Yes you can tell when you see good 3D flying when your jaw is so sore from dropping in awe.
