Hi, Can you give me a hint of how much I have to open the high and low needles if I change from CP 15% to CP30% (with 15% the high is about 1 turn open)?

The engine is a OS 46FXH with a Century Pipe.

Thanks

I would open the idle needle 1/4 turn for a start and the main needle 1/2 turn, tune it from there. BTW; I don't think the pipe is going to like the 30% fuel, most people run either 15%/pipe or the 30%/muffler...30% and a pipe make the needles a PITA to set and fly consistently, and the carb on the OS .46 isn't the easiest to get set well in the first place! Well, good luck and have fun with the 30%; it'll make the helo harder to see but it will keep the mosquitos away! Chris

Thanks Chris, Im gonna try with the pipe first since is the only muffler I have. But, if this is going to drive me crazy Ill look for a standar one.

Any recomnedations for a muffler for a GPH346?

I don't know about the .46, but the .50 responded to a .60 muffler like you wouldn't believe...quieter and much more power! As a muffler has next to no "tuning effect" I would go for the larger muffler with the 30%...and second hand .60 mufflers are pretty inexpensive. Hope this helps...Chris
