I have a Futaba Super 8 radio. How do you stop the throttle servo from overdriving when the cyclic to throttle mix is activated? Thanks

What I did was to set the throttle ATV's both to 140. Then I set me throttle linkage for these settings.

Agree

I did the same. Set the maximum servo travel and then adjust the link accordingly

Also if you give full neagative subtrim on the throttle channel
that will bring your throttle ATV values down to a more linear value
somewhere around 110 (but keep adding atv until the throttle servo stops moving when the promx is set up and active) and the low end atv will be around 90, which is pretty close to linear but not quite. If you dont use the subtrim you'll probably end up with something like a 50% atv onthe low end and 140% on the top end to get as close as you can to linear , The added preformance from a throttle to cyclic mix will make up for the non linear throttle curve, If your flying style demands one.

Michael

In case you haven't already taken this into consideration make sure to link the promix 1 and 2 to the hold switch G to have it deactivate when throttle hold is turned on, otherwise when you flare in an auto or turn in a 180 auto your throttle will come back on.

A much better way

You can program your super-8 to let the throttle act as the
switch for the mix.....ie the mix is turned off at a point of your
choice. On my rap 30 I have 25% throttle to cyclic mix.
The mix is turned off once the throttle reaches 80%. works very
well.
ps. I`ll try to list the procedure when I get my Notes together
If your interested.

I have the same radio. I think you should go with Rick on this one. I have the throttle stick as the swich also. Just set the cutoff point below the extra throttle you have mixed in. This way all of your curves and endpoints will be set like you have no mixes programed. Rod

Does turning the mix off at 80% of throttle also work for inverted flying? I thought that there was only one point to do that kind of method and so you could turn the mix off at above 3/4 stick, but not below 1/4 stick for inverted flight.
