Well it was fun for the first tank but after I filled it up for the second one I noticed that the rear landing gear was starting to spread out. Kinka like when some starts to ice skate. I have the trainning gear attached with zip ties and I guess they were a little to tight. I tried pushing the gear back to where they should be and I heard a crack.

the landing gear on my nexus started to spread out (mainly the rear part). I put a rubberband on them to keep them standing tall. this is a problem with a lot of nexus' as well with other helis as ive heard.

Nexus skids

If you're like me and store the heli's just sitting on their skids.. I ended up putting rubber bands on the skids when I'm not flying them.... so the weight doesn't spread them out with time so much.. I take them off when I fly.. only for appearances.. but otherwise they're holding up a little better since they have support when not in use... Just a thought.

Skids

I replace my Nexus Skids with Century Hawk skids (black). One they sell the cross members and skids separate. Two they're cheaper than Kyosho.

Mine doesn't seem to be saging. I've had mine on for about a Year!

I have the same issue with my Raptor. I solved it by stringing two 1mm nylon cords between the left and right sides, one in front and one in back, to keep the skids from spreading. Occasionally tie a knot in the middle of the line until the skids are back where they belong.

I've also notied the rear ends of the skids like to spread more than the front. Not sure why.

Another slick idea I've seen is a guy that has a dedicated spot where he stores his helis. He's got two wood tracks on the shelf that are the width of his skids, so when he parks the heli there, the skids are held between the tracks and can't "squat" while in storage. I'll probably do that if/when I get a dedicated place for my helis.

That sounds like a good way to store a heli, but Im thinking about hanging them from the ceiling in my room. Plenty of room up there. just get some hooks and attach them so they hold the heli right under the main blade grips and there you go.
