| I have the same issue with my Raptor. I solved it by stringing two 1mm nylon cords between the left and right sides, one in front and one in back, to keep the skids from spreading. Occasionally tie a knot in the middle of the line until the skids are back where they belong.
I've also notied the rear ends of the skids like to spread more than the front. Not sure why.
Another slick idea I've seen is a guy that has a dedicated spot where he stores his helis. He's got two wood tracks on the shelf that are the width of his skids, so when he parks the heli there, the skids are held between the tracks and can't "squat" while in storage. I'll probably do that if/when I get a dedicated place for my helis. |
