Blades, Night Flying and Painting > Paint temps ?

Hi Guys,
I am getting ready to try to paint my raptor milk jug, and I was wondering what the lowest temps are that I can paint at? It's cold here, and the only place I can paint without getting yelled at is in my garage. I will be using the Bulldog adhesion promoter, flexible primer, and Plastikote paints all from a can. Will the cold just affect the way the paint flows, or will it also affect the way it sticks & cures? I don't want to wait for warmer weather because I want to take my time in between coats, yada yada yada.... warm weather is for flying. I am guessing it will be 40-50 ish degrees?
Thanks,
Woody

Hey Woody,

Well, I'm no expert, but have you thought about, after putting the paint on in the garage, moving the canopy into the house to dry in a warmer, dryer condition? What does the paint can say? does it have minimum temps for application? You could let the paint cans stay in the house to warm up and apply paint out in the garage and then move everything back in the house. Like I said, the only thing I could paint was "The Town" and I gave that up 10 years ago. Good luck and post a pic, ok?

Keep in mind that paint curing in an enclosed house puts off alot of fumes. If you don't have a room that you can close off and leave (preferably without the kids in it) I wouldn't let it cure in the house.
