Hi all,

I live in South Eastern VA near Norfolk and I was wondering if there are any clubs/gatherings around this area? I would like to have some people to fly with besides my pet dogs who tend to chase the heli. Also it would be nice to have someone with some experience to help with set up problems and all.

Dude there's not a local heli club yet, but here's a link to the board that Neil just started up recently. They usually meet at Chesapeake city park or Fentress on weekends after 12:00 pm. Contact Renelu or 3dWisher and they will tell you where and when they are meeting. There are usually at least 5 people meeting up per day to fly. I'm just a wannabe right now, going out to watch and get pre-experience when I have time.

Hey,

I went out to chesapeake today and watched a few guys fly. John is awsome with that raptor. I wanna see the DNHP fly. Anyhow, i guess we will have to wait and see what happens with this club thing. Anyhow, if your ever out at chesapeake or fentress, my name is Jesse Edwards, ill most likely be the tallest dude out there. Im almost 6`6.

Hey guys....I am in Newport News VA. and just getting into heli's myself. If you figure out where and when there is gonna be a "meeting" would you please throw it up here. I am still trying to get my engine in tune and zeroing in all the controls, but I would love to head out and see someone who knows what they are doing.
