Hi all
This will be my first heli but have flown planks for 2 years.
Any help will be appreciated.Have narrowed my choice to 3
1. Venture 30 with os 32
2. Voyager 30 with os 32 may os 50?
3. Voyager 50 with os 50.
I would think that hopefully this won't be my first Heli and that sooner or later I,ll get another .,so what do you think.
Also what gryro should I bye. Thinking GY240
P.S I,m not made of money'
P.S.S Is the Venture cheap and nasty.
Thanks Kepp

Usually this question is posted from flyers down under... are you an Aussie or from New Zealand?

The V30 is a good heli. Can take you from hovering to simple 3D.

The V50 is a better heli. From hovering to extreme 3D but gulps fuel and we noticed the frame has a tendency to break from the vibration of the engine.

The Venture series is still too new and there's not enough of them flying to gauge their performance long term. Avoid it for now until the better flyers in your area give you the green light.

GY240 is fine, GY401/9253 is better. A good gyro now can save you money since it's something you won't easily outgrow as long as you get the combo with the servo.

Good luck

Bottom line...

I learned you just need to buy the same chopper everyone else at your field is flying, provided parts are available at your LHS. The folks at my field chose Rappies and X-Cells. Do you have a mentor? Listen and learn from him/her...
