| When it comes to charging LiPos, the new versions of the Schulze chargers are more capable than the Orbit. By no means is the Orbit a bad charger - I used one for some time. But now that I fly 20-33 cell equiv. LiPo packs (6s-10s), the Orbit just cant keep up. It is limited to 6s LiPo packs and takes twice as long to charge any packs over 6s than the Schulze does.
The Schulze 330D can charge/discharge/cycle 1-30 cells, NiCad, NiMh, Lead, LiPo @ 5.5 amps (up to 11s LiPos). Yes, a tad less amps than the Orbit, but it costs about $50 less. The 330D is $189 most places and the price of the Orbit has gone up to aorund $240 at most retailers.
As far as bang for the buck, the Schulze chargers are ahead of the game currently. Orbit is however working on a new software update to improve the amount of LiPo cells it is capable of charging. This new software will hopefully be available in the next few months.
