Adam If it had happened to you...

You would be pissed enough to get the word out any way you could, and people would have sympathy for you. So, relax and let this man get it off his chest. He just lost $800 worth of stuff, and have some compassion.

People in this hobby should stick together for the common good and help to protect one another. Its so few of us, I consider it a brotherhood.

Anybody with a problem with that.....TOUGH!!!!!!!!

IRAW50, I'm on you side and would do the same thing you are doing to protect your fellow brothers in the hobby. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

Hey,
I would like to thank you for the heads up. Everyone need to know that something like this could happen. I really feel bad for what happened to you.
If you have the guys name and address, and you have the communications back and forth plus shipping receipts, you should call the local law enforcement and get them involved. I’m pretty sure that this is a federal crime, and that guy could be facing some harsh punishment. I have a friend that got scammed on e-bar recently. He sent a money order for $500 for a Sony PDA, and then never heard from the guy after that. So my friend called every form of law enforcement in a 50 mile radius of this guy, got specific officers names, and then e-mailed the guy that was ripping him off to say “If I don’t here from you soon, you will be hearing from Officer …. very soon” I don’t know how fast my friend got his money back, but it came back.
So don’t let this guy get away with this. And don’t give up until you get your stuff back!

What are you saying? I have looked up this loser on Ebay to see his "positive feedback" and found he never had more than 10 positives before all the negatives came in. I feel this transaction taken off ebay was foolish at best with such a low number.

The moral of the story is don't trade with people you don't know or can't get a good character ref for.

I agree the other guy is a scum bag but you should have been more carefull with someone with such low/recent feedback and no other refs.

I just don't think most need a warning about this, it's like don't touch the flame, most already know it.
