It hit 100 degrees yesterday, the hottest day in about 50 years, I spent the whole day at the field, i did 7 litres of fuel, I expected everyone would be out, but there was me and another father, son, flying planks.

Maybe it was too hot, how hot was yesterday for you, where ever you are?

In a way it quite ironic really, all modellers look for a lovely sunny day to come out and play. Suddenly WACK heatwave, you'd think that they would be out to play........nope - too hot, hehehe

i'm happy to be able to go fly sometime, because the weather
here sucks most of the time.
I guess with these kind of temperatures it sucks too, but then
on the opposite side of what is normally is.

whoa, the whopping heat had me sweating buckets this weekend. i work doing bouncy-castles and adult-entertainment (not the dirty stuff! ) on the weekends and I was rushed off my feet. God knows how I survived 3 years in Cape Town, SA!

With all this heat I was just waiting for it to thunderstorm and this morning the heavens opened. It chucked it down for a couple of hours, but it was still hot, now everything has cleared up again where I am and now it's boiling again. Time to fly baby!

You Guys Took our Weather

I don't want to accuse anyone, but...

It's been overcast, raining and between 65-75 F for the last two weeks, and more of the same for the next week. I think we've had two weeks of sun this entire summer.

Oh well, just makes it harder to see the heli up there...
