Hello guys, I have a hirobo shuttle zxx, mechanical gyro and a jr 6 channle radio. Right now i can see vibration and shakes when hovering, actually i dont have any equipment to balance my rotor head. Any advice on how to balance my rotorhaed? I got hard time tracking my blade, how do i really track the blade? What should i look when its hovering? Where should i put the tracking tape?
Thank you very much!

Simple method. Get yourself some threaded rod (about 4" long) which will fit through your blade bolt holes. Bolt the two blades together with some nuts and washers and align the blades with your "eyeball" set the threaded rod across two small (glass) glasses. Use tracking tape to make it level. Now on the flybar disconnect all the linkage and screw the paddles in or out to make it balance. This should be "close enough" for now. Later you can balance each blade on a pencil (laying on a table) and if its off add tape at either end to make it balance then repeat the first procedure to balance the "set" (but apply the tape at the center of balance of the blade). In the early stages it's easy to get too "Anal"

ok, well start with the rotor blades without tape ..

first find which one is heavier on a scale(you'll need a scale) - add small amount of touch tape(1-2gms) 3qtr out until it's equal to the heavier blade , then find a one edge razor blade , place the rotor blade on the fixed upright razor blade , on one angle of "X" and balance it horizontal.. mark with a sharp pencil underneath where the "X'' is on the cordwise line occurs and do the other side too , now knowing the weight is equal keep moving a piece of tape back and forth until it is balanced, then do the equal match on the "X" cg between both blades until they balance horizontally like this "X" equally and by weight .

rule of thumb is you'll need to weigh it firstly - equally , then a cg second .. once the weight is set the cg can shift along the blade length ..

this is the CG .. and when both blades have the same CG and equal weight your done! - this is how I do it .. including glass/composite blades
