| ok, well start with the rotor blades without tape ..
first find which one is heavier on a scale(you'll need a scale) - add small amount of touch tape(1-2gms) 3qtr out until it's equal to the heavier blade , then find a one edge razor blade , place the rotor blade on the fixed upright razor blade , on one angle of "X" and balance it horizontal.. mark with a sharp pencil underneath where the "X'' is on the cordwise line occurs and do the other side too , now knowing the weight is equal keep moving a piece of tape back and forth until it is balanced, then do the equal match on the "X" cg between both blades until they balance horizontally like this "X" equally and by weight .
rule of thumb is you'll need to weigh it firstly - equally , then a cg second .. once the weight is set the cg can shift along the blade length ..
this is the CG .. and when both blades have the same CG and equal weight your done! - this is how I do it .. including glass/composite blades |
