Lite Machines Corona 120 is the best! The Hornet is no good, in my opinion!

Hello

I definitaly think he means indoors.

If you want a heli to just float around the house that wont destroy your furniture then the Piccolo Fun is the way to go. I have seen complete kits for 215 dollars

It comes with all this stuff.

2-servos
charger
Piccoboard Plus
8-cell Battery pack
easySIM flight simulator!!!

The fun pic is defintally a good in house heli with the potential for very long flight times(Stock setup) on 2 lihum polymers.

The Hirobo mini lama is good if you want to practice indoors.

The blades are made from depron so they wont shred furnature.

I have one set up in the TV room. When a comercial comes on I fly until the show is back.

It is a tethered heli that plugs into the wall. So no batteries and nothing else to purchase other that crash parts.

I will second the Hummingbird suggestion. Hands down some if not the most fun That I have ever had.

Inexpensive, easy to set up and nearly indestructable.

As I said in another post a local flyer had one, but either he couldn't get it setup right, or it sucked

The tail kept torquing around on the thing if the throttle was goosed. We tried messing around with the thing for a couple of months but never could get it working right. He eventually got rid of the thing.

Its entirely possible that the problem was setup, and not the heli.

I OTOH have a Corona which I flew indoors in a gym all winter. It was easy to build, easy to setup and flew great. However, its quite a bit bigger and definitely not suitable for a living room.

I just got a HB combo for kinda of the same reasons. I think it is great, had it flying inless than 30 minutes, took a couple packs to get it all trimmed right, it hovers around great, but it won't do much more than that, little FF, but it does get twitchy flying around (maybe something that I can resolve as I fly it more). Not very fragile either, takes alot of abuse That is one of the things I didn't like about the Hornet, if rotor blades touched anything, the thing would explode. Had a Corona as well, but I would say that is too big for inside the house.
