| ** Same as other similar helis **Hi,
A typical crash will destroy the same parts on this heli as with other plastic fantastic, and non-plastic helis: mainshaft, flybar, spindle, boom, whatever tail drive is used, mainblades.
The main gear material will strip if you stop the tail rotor fast while other things are still spinning. Note that the wire drive (i.e. not the tube) has the advantage here - it is dirt cheap to replace, and will also give if you dump the heli. This is a design feature, rather than the flaw that many people make it out to be. It is not surprising, though, to find that the tail can't be made to feel quite as tight w. the wire drive when compared to the tube - BUT, the wire is completely adequate for FFF, most non-tail intensive 3D (e.g. inverted, flips and flops, but not hard stopping piros), and even moderate speed sideways and backward flying that serves as the first step to these maneuvers done FAST.
In the end, Century prices are comparable (if not cheaper) than most other plastic heli parts. These parts are no more/less likely to fail in a crash either. If you like the heli, go for it! You won't be let down by the cost of repairs - especially when you consider what you get for what you paid.
Cheers,
