Just got a new Raptor 50 Kit. After doing a parts check, noticed a few parts that are not mentioned in the instruction manual. There are two(2) shims in the engine mount bag. There is a small shim in the clutch shoe bag. Are these parts used in assembly of Rap 50; and if so, where do they go?

If the two shims in the engine bag are rectangular they are spacers for installing the TT 50 engine. This engine is slightly narrower than the OS 50. The engine is attached to the motor mount with the shims in place to ensure proper centering. They are removed after assembly. If the shim in the clutch bag is circular with flat sides it is a shim placed between the fan hub and the clutch to keep the clutch shoes from rubbing on the fan hub.

Thanks guys. Installing an OS-50. So I guess I won't need the rectangular shims on the engine mount.
