Appart from the usual bits to replace the most injurious effect was to my pride.
No reason for it, appart from simple stupidity.

Tail dug in, arse over tit backwards.

Im not stressed over it, it had to come some time after 2 years flying it most days of the week and never a mark on it Im just glad it was 2ft off the ground and didnt go in high and hard.
Then again it wouldnt have hit the ground if I wasnt too close to it but thats my stupidity, not exactly destined to happen.

Mentone.
Did that little trick oppostie side of the bay to you down at Ricketts point beach.
This time of the year its dead empty mid week so I go for a zoom out over the rocks and water there, adds to the scenery and fun a bit.

Had the video on looking for a head shake its developed and wasnt putting all my attention to the flying, Im pretty sure I just dropped it doing the wrong thing, it was close to the deck going downwind.

The cam guy lost all pan tilt control early on and the camera sat back level as you might note in it.
As I came in to land it, dropped the tail in and grabbed the ground.

Still have no reason for loss of pan tilt yet it seems to work.
All Ive found on the heli is a shagged upper clutch bearing, really badly like it gave up in the flight, Ive heard it mentioned bad bearings can cause radio trouble but I really dont think it was the cause.

It didnt glitch or the like just lost pan tilt contact then I dropped it, Im 99% I put in a wrong yaw stick, my first bad stick action with that heli in 2 years flyng it Im a little surprised I did it but I guess time caught up with me there not a bad bearing.

Rappy_Chappy AKA HeliGenius

You troll here as much as you are in rec.models.rc.helicopters

The only quote I can think worth mentioning is you stated in rec.models.rc.helicopters that you troll posts to get your jollies and to provide entertainment for you and your wife as you so claimed.

I have no idea why you are following me around here and Usenet bleeding over my posts.
You are yet to make any point of any kind..
You are an empty vessel.

Wow

Thanks

You are a troubled human being. Perhaps you'd like to tell everyone where to find that post? I must say I am supprised that you have resorted to blatant lying.

Love

I find it amazing that I am on a new list 5 minutes and already I see ridiculous abuse. Rappy Chappy pull ya head in! This bloke posts something worthy of comment and discussion and you turn it into a petty point scoring exercise to gain perverse satisfaction. I know its cold and bleak in Scotland but surely you can find better things to do with your time.
MPA, I might see you round the traps in Melbourne. I very occasionally venture down to Carrum to the Melb Heli club, or else attend most Vic fun flies. I might see you at Bendigo in Nov....

Regards

Sounds like a motorcycle rider talker. At least that's what we say here in the states.

No Tango I dont think so. Its rare I get to the Melb club. I flew at Shepparton last year, as did about 100 others. Managed to write my Ergo .60 off after a battery lead failed but thats another story.
You might have seen a bit of my work if you read Airborne..I occasionally review helicopters. The last one I did was the Venture .60 a few months back.
It might be an idea to get all the Aussie members of this list to meet up at the Bendigo fun fly in November. I'll shoot a pic and post it back here.

Your applogies to others at Usenet over your activities there are hollow now you are in here doing the same thing so just dont do it anymore and you wont have to applogise to anyone in here either.
There are plenty more threads here without me in them so move on to them if you cant stand me.

No-one knows where or how he just arrived and tried it on for size
He will evaporate to some other activity soon Im sure..
See E-mail.
I see you flew at Shep, did you ask me about some pics a while back, sorry cant remember who it was.
Ive got a pile of shots from Shep from both days, I wasnt flying there.
If you have a shot of your heli Ill have a look for it.
I have stills and video.
I had to pull the vids and shots for a while it ate up too much bandwidth off my server.

Cheers
Dave
