well put azzir,
sar the receiver connection looks just like a co-axial cable connection. lets give it a shot nothing to loose only to gain. ill take apart the camera and see what is involved in replacing the transmitter antenna. just have to solder a new one in. i guess i should try radio shack for that wire, do you think its something special?

Make sure you get all the pieces...

Gain hehe, good pun. I have one directional antenna with over 15dB gain, but it's built for 900Mhz and these systems are advertised as 900 to 1200, we'll see what happens.
Probably not special wire, I would just measure the wire length between the case and the end of what is already on there, then cut one from thin stranded wire (I have tons and can bring a soldering iron with me) maybe 1 inch longer than what you measured(to make up for how much wire is in the camera case) and solder it onto the end of the existing antenna. Trim it back slowly to fine tune if needed.

I agree

Joe (BarnSpeed Hobbies) has always been there for me when I trek up there to Lee, Mass from Kingston. I have not seen him fly, but beeing in the buis, how could he not be a good flyer. We are always happy to see other clubs and like to visit others as well. I am still waiting to meet the gent from Rotory Aerials, he is known to fly a Maxi Joker.

Big Brown (ups) should have my parts here today ill pick them up from uai tonight and get to work, i dont understand it took me 2 days to build this thing and hour and half to strip it apart..?? as long as everyhting comes in i just may be back for sunday, we'll see. Ajt i'll still take you up on your offer and fly your raptor, and if i end up with a 50 just know i'm gonna blame you !...hehe but thanks

PShooter.................... Thanks!!! Your the Best!

Thanks Pete for taking the time and effort in explaining to me all the fine details on RC Helicopters. Your vast knowledge and experience has help me enormously. As we speak frequently about me getting into RC Helicopters I know your guidance will point me in the right direction. I look forward to flying with you at the beautiful fields in Saugerties.

PS..... Would love to get the Heli with the Jet Turbine...... What do you say 50/50?

Thanks

Stop Eating!

Guys I am spanked....., how many cases of chicken can you fit in a 28ft reefer?

776 cases too many if you ask me!

Mucho trevajo!!!!

I had the invite from Sar but, I will sacrifice tommorrow for a headache free day on Sunday. I am plankin' and spankin'.... I hope that I will be able to wease the controls away from AJT (the band is getting tuned up) after a while. I corrected the probs and hope to get it up in the air! I just hope the plugs (1-L) and exaust gasket arrive in the morning.

If the R30 is ready, Kudos! I just wish I was there to help....

Thanks Sar and Manzer.
