Yeah that was fun, good to meet some of the other guys in the area. Although we're running out of clubs to just drop in on, I think we've met a large number of the heli guys within an hours drive of everyone

I'm going to talk to the powers that be at OC park to see if we can make our field a permanant home. I'll try not to get us thrown out in the process. We will probably need to form a club to make it happen.

feathering shaft in and all ready to go. i had a spare at home, was able to make it out sunday for a bit.

OC park would be really nice to have as a home i'm all for forming a club also.

Just wanted to thank everybody for for showing up on sunday at NEW PALTZ . We really enjoyed the show. The BILL show was outstanding I still can't believe a heli can do that!! My thoughts are a club would be the thing too do. I'am sure it will bring a lot of fliers out of the wood work. JON keep in touch, I'am at PETES house now and am working on getting a heli. I'll let you know how I make out. I hope your bird will be fixed soon. looking forward to watching you fly again.

dont worry about the cam, hell i even attached it to my dogs head when i first got it to try it out, that by far was the most funny thing to see...it was a checpo anyway so if it breaks i dont care.

Hey Al, good to hear it, the 50 should be a great bird. My rebuilds going a bit slow at the moment, but the R60 should be back online around the middle of next week and hopefully re-tuned for the weekend. I might actually try to make it out this weekend to hang out with you folks. You can kick at my electric I just have this thing about waking up in the wee hours of the morning

RAPTOR 50

WOW,
A box full of parts! Got everything I need, including some upgrades. Even got a crash kit. The bird came with two sets of blades. 1 wood 1 carbon, plus the crash kit has a set. Thats three sets Maybe someone is tring to tell me something. OS -50, throttle jocky, 401 gyro and many other parts! Too bad I,am going on vacation this weekend. I'll be gone for a week, I'am going too try to do some assembly before I leave. Mike I'll probably need some help before It's all done, linkage set-up and all of that stuff. I'll be in touch when I get back. Yes very excited just can't wait too fly this thing. JON Give NEW PALTZ HELL with that electric ya gotta fly something even if it's not a heli!

I'm available for helping out as well. Once I get my parts, I think I'll be shifting my work hours back all next week just so I can catch up on lost flying time.

Bring it down to the field, I bet with all the heli guys in the area around we'd have it together and flying in a day.. (Wait, now that would be an interesting fun-fly contest.. )
