FedEx or UPS won't ship it? I thought they would offer oversized shipments for an extra charge. I had a BowFlex shipped to me here in Canada and it came by Purolator. It was a big box and must have weighed about a 100 lbs.. Did you try calling those courier companies personally? If they won't take it you will have to try and find another independant courier company or have it sent by transport truck. Do you have DHL in the US? Try them.

If you look at UPS shipping info the will just charge you extra for the oversized package http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/re...mitsforPackages

Good luck the only other thing if that doesnt work would be to call a trucking company but the hobby shop I work for we get kits UPS all the time that are bigger than the overall dimensions you have stated.

UPS: Packages can be up to 130 inches (330 cm) in length and girth combined

there are plenty of freight line companies out there which you can use, just look in your yellow pages...

Just in case you have something large to ship in the the future, you can check out AAA Cooper Transportation (Freight Company) near Chicago. They have great rates and will ship anything!

Freights a good option as well, people freak out about it because it's not UPS. But they'll ship pretty much anything that UPS won't with regard to size or weight. I shipped a 500 pound laser amplifier for $175
