| Hello , Ray
I have try the mix too and have good result mid stick but eratical when full or low picth so I gave up and order the 9X
Regarding the throttle , Bob Wilcox recomand this :
<
a.. The auxiliary channel on the ECU is not used or plugged into the
receiver. Plug the throttle channel into a auxiliary channel on your system
that is controlled by a knob on the transmitter.
b.. Learn the R/C as per the manual but use the full counter clockwise
position for minimum stick + minimum trim, center position for minimum
throttle stick + high trim, full clockwise for maximum stick + maximum trim.
c.. To start, move the knob full counter clockwise then move to the center
position. This starts the LED chase. Then move the knob to full clockwise
and the engine will start. Move the knob back to the center position after
ignition and wait for the green LED to illuminate. Then, while keeping a
little negative pitch, move the knob to the full clockwise position until
the rotor is at full speed. Then use only the pitch control to fly. The ECU
computer will automatically keep the rotor at a constant speed.
d.. To stop the engine, slowly bring the knob back to the center position.
Wait for a few seconds then move the knob to the full counter clockwise
position. The engine will shut off.<<<
I use a Graupner Ultra Duo Plus II as charger it is very powerfull
Cheers
