I have a 35 HO controller in my Logo 20 running 24 cells. About 3 1/2 minutes into a flight, the head speed picks up about 200 rpm. I'm running it in governor mode. This happens even when hovering. There is nothing binding in the heli mechanics, so I'm sure it's the controller (or motor) causing the problem.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I have the same set-up and problem!! - (although I never realy measured the head speed difference and am guessing it to be 50-100rpm's). Seems like this is "normal" for a Scultze, Pletti & 24cell
set-up.

BTW - can you look if on your Pletti you can rotate the fan while the
main motor shaft stays fixed - on mine, in particular after a flight,
the fan rotates quite freely on the shaft!!

I just flew mine and checked the fan. At first, it seemed to turn a bit, but the more I tried to turn it, the tighter it felt. Strange!

Also, I'm running 3000 mah, 24 cell NiMh and getting 6.5 minutes of flight. How 'bout you?

Thanks Bill - I'll try to get a closer look at my Pletti's fan.

I am running 24 NiCd 2.4AH and getting about 5minutes of 3D'ing
plus 30 sec's of just hovering around (I have my Tx timer set-up for
5min and I immediately head back when it starts counting down the
last 10 Sec's or so). I run governer mode (don't remeber which mode
is it) - but I start at 100Throttle get one beep followed by 3beeps, then
move to idle to get one beep - and fly at 85% flat throttle curve.
