well i got the 3d flying, and WOW -----is all i can say, when i ordered my parts, one of the parts was the flybar conrol arm ball that mount inside the head to the sliding flybar assembly,

my problem is wondering if this was the wrong part, the replacements i recieved were twice the length or more of the original balls, so now my roll rates have been reduced drastically, i lost almost all of my aileron fast roll rate,

if i have the same throws in the elevator and aileron the elevator is twice as fast or faster than the elevator, is this normal, or did i get the wrong replacements

Those particular balls are the longest ones on the heli. Sounds more likely it was built wrong first time. Have you been doing some more 'experimenting' away from the recommended set-up

Anyhow, roll rate should be fast (almost too fast) but will be affected by what blades you are using and how you have your cyclic controls set in the radio. Using NHP Razor the roll is ballistic. Using TG 3D blades the roll is more sedate

i was a little short of the 7mm rec throws, fixed that but havnt flown it yet again, but yes it is ballistic when you turn up the elevator throw, was just wondering if the aileron being slower was just a characterstic or im doing something wrong again..i think im threw experimenting though, it seems its less expensive that way

..exept for the dual plug head i made which im still experimenting with, just to see if i could make one and it actually works

i also get a shake that comes and goes im still running a bit rich in the hover which is when it shakes,,,could that be the reason...
