Hey all,

I expect my joker cx to arrive on Monday and look forward to starting to build it. Any recommendations anyone can think of before i start construction?

I have been speaking to a few people allready and they have been extremely informative and helpful.

I look forward to getting the joker in the air and flying.

Thanks

Larry

Joker CX

Larry,
1) Get your ESC mount and HV-UBEC ordered from twguns (R-W-C).
2) Send him (twguns) the skids from your kit as soon as it arrives . . .they will be assembled on his way cool "Jig".
3) Order the Kalt 20.5 mm boom mount for your TR servo from HeliProz. (Black or Purple)
4) Order a whole mess o' GP3300 "Zapped" batteries.
5) Shake . . .do not Stirr!
6) Proceed to blow everyone's mind at your local field!

or you can consider buying the MA tuff-struts if you don't want to risk the masterpiece landing gear. it's a whole lot cheaper to replace too!

You would be supprised at how tough the CF gear from the Joker is...

It surely won't stand up to slidding around on the pavement, just like any other gear, but it is certainly NOT fragile by any means...

trust me, twguns, i can break anything

btw, whoever having a joker MUST buy his ESC mount. i just installed mine and it is designed to match the joker perfectly, both functionally and aesthetically (thanks tim!)
