I know that I am just a newbie and I really feel bad after spending my money for a Kyosho Nexus 30 and then looking for a new canopy for me to customize like every one else. I can't find a website that caries a good after market parts like aluminum and stuff.. If I woould have known this I would have bought something like a Raptor.

Does anyone know of a website where I can find canopies after market parts for a Nexus 30?
Thanks!

parts

where you are is the best place to find parts for a japaneese made helicopter. Dont knock the nexus until you have exhausted its potential. I have Two and like them better than some of my others.

Nexus 30???

You will hear some negative comments on just about anything
I still fly my Nexus(I have enough spares to build 3!) and it's a very reliable entry level heli.

Will it do 3-D? Not for me, other far more accomplished pilots could make it sing! I'm no where near that nor would I try it with that heli. I would say spend your money on fuel and fly the rotors off that puppy!

Spending on a lot of upgrades (IMHO) will not be cost effective for the final results. All of this of course depends on the direction you want to take. The Nexus is an older design and it's showing it's age, still a very flyable heli though.

Let me put it this way,if a person wants to spend a lot on "eye candy" that's fine, but, burning a lot of fuel will get you where you want to go a lot faster than the latest metal part ever will. ---BladeRunner.

Nexus 30,46,

I love my nexus machine,If set up right they fly very well it may take a little learning to get them just right but in a hover my heli is as smooth as glass absoulutely no vibs or any kind of glitch i did have to upgrade a little but it was worth it and still cheap, If you want prestige appereance go with xcell but you will inherit the cost factor to

Nexus 30

I love my nexus!!! The only mods I did to it are as follows:
1) Put a kyosho Concept 30 swashplate on it.. It has metal balls rather than the plastic ones that wear out. (tower hobbies)
2) Helimax turbo fan II (tower hobbies)
3) Helimax aluminum spinner cone (tower hobbies)
4) Quick aluminum servo arms from Hobbies and Helis
5) Bunch of swivel ball links to replace the Z bends, as well as the threaded rod ends to match. (tower hobbies)
6) Carbon tail mount servo mount combo pack.. includes carbon fibre pushrod for tail. (hobbies and helis)

Heli-world has some more upgrades for it as well. Most of those parts I just bought from Tower Hobbies though.
