I still fly my Nexus(I have enough spares to build 3!) and it's a very reliable entry level heli.
Will it do 3-D? Not for me, other far more accomplished pilots could make it sing! I'm no where near that nor would I try it with that heli. I would say spend your money on fuel and fly the rotors off that puppy!
Spending on a lot of upgrades (IMHO) will not be cost effective for the final results. All of this of course depends on the direction you want to take. The Nexus is an older design and it's showing it's age, still a very flyable heli though.
Let me put it this way,if a person wants to spend a lot on "eye candy" that's fine,but, burning a lot of fuel will get you where you want to go a lot faster than the latest metal part ever will. ---BladeRunner. |
