Has anyone had a problem with installing their flybar see saw on the Quick 50?

The instructions say:

"Install (1) sea-saw using (2) sea-saw collars and (2) M3-8 cap head bolts"

This is what I did and when I put the seesaw in the head, there is a small gap between it and each collar. If I tighten the M3-8 cap head screws at all, the see saw binds? It seems to me that the collars are too short?

I had a similar problem with my Quick15. I had to fit a 0.5mm shim inbetween the collar and the seesaw (one on each side) to allow the cap head screws to be pulled up tight without binding the head.
0.5mm was a little too big as I had to file a flat on the sides of the seasaw to get the ideal clearance without binding. 0.3mm shims may be better.

I will try that. I did not look to see that the coller extend past the bearning face, I'm sure it does.

seesaw collars on Quick30 Learner

Hi guys,

I have the opposite problem - my collars are too long (~10mm) for M3-8 bolts. Obviously I'll have to cut the collars but I have no idea to what length.

I'll appreciate if anyone with Quick30 Learner share with me the proper length of the collars.

I have measured my collar on the Learner. It is 5,3mm overall. The bearing is 4,0mm and this will make the collar stick out 0,5mm on the "backside". I didnīt have to cut my collars. They where perfect from the start!
