e-MS Composit Hornet > Hacker mounting in a hornet

Hi,
Just got my hacker 20-22 and I want to mount it in hornet. the flange at the end of the motor runs into the frame so the motor does not fit up flat with the mount. I can splay the frame slightly to widen it and shove the motor flange in ther but then the holes dont match great and it is difficult to get a good pinion mesh as the motor does not want to slide good. Anyone else run into this and what solved it ? thanks.

I wouldn't recomend modifying the main frame as it is already very flexible. What I've done (along with many others) is use a dremel to remove the flange on the hacker just enough to slide it into the hornet frame. Plus you save a little weight

Be sure the "flats" you put on the flange are in the correct position so the motor mounting holes line up.
