| Call your bank and ask them "how do they protect themselves against fraud?" They will tell you that they hold matching funds until the MO clears. Sometimes they can verify that the MO is valid on the spot if their computers are connected to the correct systems. It does help that you cashed it at a bank where you have an account. I use Bank of America, they have told me many times that they freeze matching funds in my account until the MO or cashiers check clears.
By the way, I thought postal money orders could only be cashed at the post office..... I know the post office verifies validity on the spot when cashing postal money orders. So either your lying or I learned something new today.
You seem like the type who likes to argue for arguments sake. You do business your way, I will do it mine. If you want to take unnecessary risks that is your business. My only point is that I would prefer to use a totally safe transaction system like paypal than expose myself to fraud via counterfeit MO or cashiers checks. I am very clear and open about my auctions and if you don't like it don't bid. Again note my feedback, its perfect. The only thing that sounds fishy is why you are harping on this.
As to the heli, I am not going to give it away so I am keeping it for now. I will be playing with some different pinions to speed the motor up. The machined cylinder head works fine. |
