I have a 22/20/3 in my Eco 8 with a 19 tooth pinion, a Hacker 40-3P controller, and Thunderpower 3s4p pack. Heres the deal. It seems to me that the head speed is a bit low and I think I have raised my curves father than I should. Thus I would like to put a bigger pinion on it but also understand that it will raise the temp of my motor. How hot can I run it without damaging the motor? Thanks for the input.

my expierence with the mega motors are as long as you don't exceed 50 rpm and keep them under 40-45 amps you can be as mean as you want to them. I'm currently running a22-30-3 on 12 cells at 45 amps in a staudacher that i have over 100 flights on.

if you have questions about the mega's call ken Mizell at mega motors. he has a guy that flies for him that regularly looks for the breaking point on their motors.

Use a 14 tooth pinion & 10 cells with that motor, it works great. Dan
I get 6-6.5 min on 1300 milamp 10cell. After a flight I can grab the motor and hold it. Shultz rules......
