what ratio would be the best for the webra 91 to get the most power out of it, i was told it might run better with 8.3 instead of the standard ratio 7 somthin to allow the engine to run a little faster..

is there any chance that anyone is still having the problem of the heli jumping around during run up of the head on take off or has the problem been adressed, i think the landing gear had to be strengthened.

can you convert to rdnt landing gear

The problem can simply be addressed by any NT pilot: Only start the NT on rough surface like grass, never on a smooth surface. No change in landing gear necessary.

The 8.3 gear ratio is definitely more suitable for the Webra. A couple of people in the UK have tried it and are reporting the all the problems going away. Obviously it increases the noise and fuel consumption, but that is a small price to pay for reliability.

Regarding the 'jumping around', Bernhard is correct. Just don't take off from a hard surface. If it is all you have, take a piece of carpet and throw that down for your helipad. It'll make a great target for autos too

The alternative is to get the thing off the ground as soon as you can. I believe Jan suggests getting airborne at around 800RPM if you are flying off the hard stuff.

crazy

i like to glide in on my autos, sometimes it like to slide it on the ground as im coming in ,i think this is going to be a problem with the 3dnt tiny landing gear..possible nose over, hate to scratch the canopy,
does anyone have the 8.? pinion for sale..

If you like to slide you autos, then you definitely need to be a bit more careful than usual !
