Hi all,

Ok, first CP micro heli....do we setup the pitch as a gas one...i.e basic = -2, +6, +10 deg

If so then do you also use throttle as 0,50,100 or do you keep it up high as 0, 95, 100.

(There's nothing in the manual about actual degrees, just says get full range of travel.........)

Read in other mails for head speeds of around 2000 (throughout range or top end only?)

Hacker 31s, Phoenix 10 going in it, does anyone have recommendations for the esc settings??

Could someone just list their settings and modes ??

Many Thanks in advance,

James

James,

I've got a similiar setup as you on my pro, but am still learning about electrics myself. The micro heli forum at www.rcgroups.com is a great resource for the piccolo pro. Check it out for some good tips.

I've been running mine with the same setup as my nitro heli like you mentioned. I need to tweak the throttle curves some more though because it seems that the tail it very sensitive to rpm changes. Instead of that though, I'm going to try setting up the governer mode. This is the way to go. For setting up your pro, check out this site - http://rceheli.com/flying/1046631638/index_html. He's got his setup and modes listed.
