| On 6/30/08, I sent to Newflyer2008 $130 by way of MO for a case of CoolPower 30%. On 7/5/08, he received the MO and informed me that because he was then on vacation, the fuel will be shipped "next weekend."
The fuel was shipped not "next weekend" but allegedly on 7/16/08. I promptly replied and asked for the tracking number. He did not provide me with a tracking number.
On 7/26, I inquired as to the shipment and was told that the fuel was shipped USPS, parcel post, and it may take up to two (2) weeks. I replied with "No problem. Just updating."
On 8/5, I again inquired as to the fuel. Newflyer2008 offered a refund. I informed him that because it was sent parcel post, to give it few more weeks.
On 8/20, without the fuel, I requested the refund of my money. Newflyer2008 replied and asked me for my address so he can "... check into it thanks!"
I waited and on 9/4 requested the refund.
On 9/8, he replied with: "Hey man im very busy and cant anser my pm's i sent your refund off thursady."
On 9/13, after not receiving the refund, I again inquired as to it status.
On 9/15, he claimed to be "out of state" and will have his wife looking into the matter with post office.
On 9/25 he asked me if I'd received the refund. I told him no.
On 9/26, he wrote to me: "Well im going to cancel the MO and refund my money. Its going to take 60 days to refund my money. Heres what im willing to do . I will write you check for the amount and send it with a requried signiture. Im not going to send another mo and have to wait again for my as im already out almost 300 on this deal! I will be back home on wed and will send it out. IF this sounds fair to you let me."
I accepted the offer for the refund of my money by personal check. I further requested a tracking number. The Wednesday which he supposedly mailed out the refund check was October 1, 2008.
As of today, October 11th, no tracking number for the refund, no refund and no communication from Newflyer2008.
If I'm wrong in opening up this matter to the public. Please tell me and I'll delete and apology to Newflyer2008. |
