the deal is I currently have 3 60 size heli's.....a fury 60...which I love! A freya and I just bought used a vigor std with ALL the upgrades(metal tail, carbon frame and boom, carbon and anodized servo mount, the 80 size engine gears..etc...and a glass canopy) I am going to sell either the freya or the vigor...not sure which one??? I have flown the freya and love it! I haven't flown the vigor..but with all the upgrades it seems like a nicer machine?? I know it will cost a few dollars more to crash but, It seems like its worth it?? Any comments or suggestions? Anyone fly a vigor and freya??

hehe I know how you feel slider. I want a fury so bad I can taste it, but as heliguy2 posted he needs to know which heli to keep. Well I flew a vigor standard for a year and loved it. I have never flown a freya but know some guys that have flown both and now fly freyas only. You have fury so you dont need a high end heli and one that will cost more to repair then the fury. If I was in your boat I would sell the vigor and keep the lower cost heli for banging around.

As for my vigor I sold it because I could not afford the $600.00 crashes anymore.

X-cell parts availability.. in Ontario

Sluggo. How easy to get x-cell part here in Ontario. Which LHS carry more newer or older x-cell parts. Or do you have to order everything else in states..?

I would take the 80 out of the vigor and put it in the freya. If you don't mind the extra crash cost then go for the vigor. If you do, then stick with the freya. There is more than just a little difference in the cost of a crash.
Both helicopters fly very well.

FREYA

I myself can only vote for what I own. Some of the guys I fly with have vigors. One with a 90 in it. He has flown my Freya and was quite impressed with it. He said it was very solid. Crash cost will diffently be alot cheaper with the freya over the vigor. I wood have to agree with Traderdave, nswap the motors and have the BEST of both worlds!!!!!!!! A cheaply repaired ROCKET.

Fury all the way.

Although i must say that the Vigor has excellent frame stiffness, no flex in those bad boys.

For what it's worth. I had both at one time and I sold the Vigor for the same reason as sluggo. When I owned the Vigor, my flying was stiffled since I was afraid to crash it. A couple of months later, I got the Freya and I can afford not just to fly it, but crash it.

Admittedly, the Vigor's stiffness translated to faster smoother flight, but the freya still has better cyclic response (in stock form) as well as improved tail authority (driven tail vs LSD).
