As Heli 770 said, you're definately better off with a Futaba 401. But take it from someone who knows, if you can't afford a 401 at the moment then the Align 500X with definately hold the tail. I should know because I use one. But the only kind of flying I do is right side up, if you see my heli upsidedown then you better run for your life!!:lol But if you plan on doing any 3D then you will definately want to get that Futaba 401!!!

Had the Align 500 and never liked it. Like the GY401 and am sorry I waisted money on the 500 that should have gone into a reliable system like the 401.
