SemiArticulate Veteran Location: On Location
| I think Model Helicopter World (MHW) will be a popular answer. Its a full color mag with scale and aerobatic articles. Of course, lots of advertising but thats to be expected with almost any of them. However, the articles are often entertaining as well. I don't like descriptions of aerobatic stunts because they never seem to describe them in a fashion that I like to hear them. But MHW does OK and they draw it out with pictures so you can go to the sim and work out the stick movements. Although, there is a "do this then do that" explanation also. Its a Traplet publication which has a good name also. The only drawback it that almost everything it covers is in the UK. Prices, locations, people, etc. There is a little US heli coverage. Jon Tanner and Shawn Brown always have good articles. You can't go wrong with it. |
