| here is my experience with the rc store (book store).i wish some one had told me this before i ordered.i wrote this letter to rc modeler magazine editor,because the let this company advertize in thier magazines and their sister magazine.the editor Debra cleghorn got back to me in less than 24 hours,she understod my problem and sent me a book out today which wanst her responsobilty of course but is well appriciated.i call her the old school usa customer service,thank god some business are still out their.thanks again debra.
i wanted to tell you a experience i had with one of your sponsers.its for one of your sister magazine (radio control helicopter magazine) your magazine came up when i googled it.their add is also in your magazine.ive been flying planes and
helis for over 25 years.
im going to be getting into giant scale aircraft soon.the first thing i did was order the book radio control giant scale book.i got the company that sells it (RC STORE.COM) the book store.when i orderd it i gave them the item #.after a month i called them to find out were my book is.im waiting for it so i can read it and order my stuff.they tell me it takes 6 weeks to get the book.their is no
way i would have orderd it from them if i new it would take 6 weeks.i was out of town when i orderd it,in hopes that when i got home in a week it would be in my mail box.i can get it from the local hobby shop in a week. they didnt tell me it was going to take 6 week,nor in the add does it say to take 6 weeks for
shipping.
when i called them to find out were it was and they told me 6 weeks i told them to cancle the order,then they said they couldnt cancle it but it was on its way. which was a lie,i confirmed it when i checked the tracking #.
i got the package yesterday.i was a set of plans to build a plane not a book.i called them today spoke to christy anderson.she refused to give me the name of her supervisor.i work at a plant and im not able to leave work and run to the ups store and return this.i asked them to have ups to do a pick up and when they had confirmation that they had it to credit my card.they refused.christy was very rude.i cant believe people like this are able to promote themselves in your
magazines,something must be done.
i wasnt sure on who to send this to so i sent it to the editor,will you please let me know you got this.i will be posting this letter on my rc heli and plane talk forms,in hopes now one else will have to go threw what i did,and get business like this out of business.thank you for your time jason stevens |
