Main Discussion > Thunder Tiger Agusta A119 Koala Fuse??? on Trex 600E

Hey Everyone,
I am really interested in purchasing This beautiful heli Fuse.

I love the Full Scale Koala and would love to put this on my T600 E. Except i am not sure how well it would work out. i mean there are a few issues with the flybar being on the bottom instead of the top like the raptors is and also how would i access the batteries to take them in and out for flying? Anyway i know a lot of people have used the Thunder tiger scale fuses with the Trex600E, mostly the MD500 version. So i know someone has to have used the Koala by now. Let me know what any of you think and if you have already done this how did it work out??
Thanks
Clint

Well thats what i thought, but i can not see it from any pictures and there are not much detailed instructions online as to how the body comes apart or anything and i am not about to purchase a fuse and then it not work right on my Mechs and i have to chop it all up. I was just hoping someone could tell me that they have tried this fuse on there 600E and it worked fine with no Mods.

TT A119 Koala

Hi axemanclint,
I have one and the quality is pretty good. Although I have heard of some who have flown it have stated the Horizontal Stabs are a little weak and have a fluttering in FFF.
The Cockpit is attached to the rest of the fuse by a series of approx 15 screws (size 0) so you shouldn't have a problem with battery changeouts.
I post a photo.

Wow!! thanks victorb
that looks awesome, i have actually seen some of your pics on another thread before of this heli. i love the way this fuse looks and i hope i can get it eventually.

Wow 15 screws? that seems like a lot of screws to have to change out each time? maybe someone else with a 600E has figured out a way to do it without having to do that? thanks for the input and the pics though looks great. Have you ever posted any video of it flying? i would absolutely love to get an idea of how it looks in the air.
thanks
clint

A119 Koala

Axemanclint,
Tell you the truth, I haven't flown it yet. Justgot through building a Spectra-G and am so thrilled with it, I have not taken the time to load the R50 Titan into it and fly it.
But it won't be long, now.
I'm not sure how all that red is going to show up in the air????
