I have the new Panasonic HPX170 camera on the way. A pound lighter than the HVX200, shoots on P2 cards only, doesn't run on CMOS sensors(no rolling shutter effect), has a wider lens, and shoots 720-60p, 1080-30p, and variable (slower) frame rates.

I'm careful when I need to be careful. No sense in being a pussy all the time. You never learn.

^^^^^^^^^Not with the new camera, but I've already done it again with the 600. Only 550 yards. No problem.

$5K camera, 550 yds out, Trex AP ship = priceless

I could do 600yrds no problem its the "bringing it back" that would be the problem.

Can't wait to see some footage.

^^^^^^NOT with the new camera. Don't even have it yet.

I'll probably stick with close range stuff with the new camera.

What's wrong with a Trex? They are about the most brainless, easy to use, easy to get tuned well heli on the planet. So easy a monkey could do it. I'm the monkey.

No, from the trees. I fly into them to shake 'em loose. Works great for this little monkey.

When the bananas ripen, I then use them for skids and visual aid.
