Here are some points I noted from your link:

- High charge rates are not good for the battery. (My power supply limits me to 1C or less on big packs anyway)
- Higher charge cutoff voltage reduced the cycle life (I use the default 100% on the TP1010) Will have to double check what that translates to. Maybe I could drop that to 90 - 95% since I never fly more than 70/80%.
- Higher discharge rates reduce the operating life of the battery. (I run at 4C to 5C) The only option there is to use bigger batteries 5000Mah to reduce the load.

I had a couple of TP packs go on me early and when I called them one of the first questions they asked was if I balanced them when they were discharged. They said that would kill them quick.

Strange because the TP charger will not let you start charging unless the cells are within 0.029V of each other.

My TP's were rarely more than 0.010 to 0.005v out after a flight.
