Beginners Corner > trex 600E stock motor and ESC, no 3d, whats a good pack?

I have a new trex 600E I cannot do any 3d, still learning to fly around in circles. will the TP 6s 5000mha battery be enough for a decent flight? The motor is the 600xl, and the ESC is the 75A

I keep hearing aobout 8 and 10 cell packs, im not sure what to do.

I do have the means to charge, and have some experiance with LiPo batteries. I will be using the TP 1010C charger with the tp210 balancer. any help would be appreciated,

thanks

unless you are having a problem why change? The XL 75amp and the 6cell TP 5000mah is a great combo for what you are doing and once you start into 3D that combo will work fine and teach you some collective management which I think is an important but dieing skill.

I use the stock XL setup and 3d it for 5:30 minutes with putting back in less than 80%.

Don't think bumping up the cell count and having more power will make you a better pilot, it will not.

Stock Setup

If you plan to run the stock motor/esc you'reonly real choice for a lipo is a 6s 5000mah lipo...if you go to a 6000mah it will be a bit too heavy...

Anything smaller and you'll either fry it or get almost no flight time...

For learing to do circuits a stock 6s 5000mah setup is fine..Plenty of power and flight time...

Try out this battery, great power and has the puff proof technology, also quite cheaper than the Thunder Power's.

It will work great. I run a 6 cell tunderpower 5000mah on mine and it runs like nobodys buisness. If you use the 11 tooth pinion headspeed is awesome. It will do anything you can throw at it.

Just watch your flight times I get 4.5 min of hard flying on mine.
