Does anyone know if thunder tiger have any plans to design a new version of the Raptor 50 titan to keep up with the latest 50 class heli"s like the Vibe 50 and 600n?

After much bitching in the Innovator thread, they did admit that a new 50 is in the works.

You don't think they are working on something? The 600N has killed Raptor sales. Honestly, if you don't believe it, or don't know that they are working on something, you are seriously out of touch. Same goes for Hirobo, they've got a new 50 on the way as well, because the 600N killed their sales as well.

So does anyone know when this "new Raptor" is likely to hit the market?

The reality is that TT are behind the 8 Ball. The Innovator is being pitched primarily at novice pilots. That much is clear. I have no doubt they will sell them by the boatload, just not to those of us that know better.

Their new 50 better be stunning or they will be toast in the hardcore side of the hobby market. Not that TT care as long as they are profitable and growing. It's sad because I loved my Raptors for a long time. There are far better heli designs out there now and most pilots know this. THAT is why Align 0wn them and the market now.

I am honestly not sure if TT can claw back their marketshare. It may simply be a case of 'too little too late'. Time will tell but it largely comes down to will. Do TT still have the desire to play in this space? Is it even financially worth it to them?? Hard to tell.

Wow its a shame that you guys speak such truth about the Thunder Tiger Market... They provide a good line of heli's but when ALIGN stood up and came hard with their proformance and power-2-weight ratios and other nice improvements TT really feels it where it hurts their pockets.

I have a Raptor 50 Titan and she flies like a champ..I love my Titan to death but im considering a ALIGN 600N or the Raptor 90SE... Im still doing my research on the 2 knowing the size difference, im looking at performance, parts availability, and a few other minor things...
