They are definitely not the same, I have both here in front of me and the 700 start shaft is bigger and longer

Diff size. Like Big Mike said. The 700 is bigger

The hex starter adapter is the same for both the 600 & 700N, the shafts are different.

Steve -Trex 700N, Trex 600N, Raptor 550E, 450SE, Mini Titan, Logo 5003D, Beam E4
