| Am I missing something stupid here? I am putting the main shaft in my Rap 60. Through the top bearing, through the stop ring, through the main gear sub assy. Then I line up the Jesus bolt (careful not to over tighten) in the red tail drive gear, and everything looks OK. But when I go to screw the stop ring in I am about three mm off. Holes on the main shaft are too high (close to the top bearing). I measured to make sure the short end of the shaft is down, it is too close to be reversed. The red tail drive gear matches good with the tail drive subassy. Is it possible to have the top bearing installed the wrong way??? I noticed on the instructions, the bottom bearing is to be installed upside down. To me that means oposite the top bearing, so the recess area between the bearing and the bearing block is towards the O/S of the heli (top to top and bottom to bottom). Is this right? Best I can tell that is what the picture looks like. If the top bearing were reversed would it allow the stop ring to go up a little farther into the recess and then the screw holes match???
Thanks
